Girls cross country earns sixth consecutive Conference Indiana title. Boys runners-up.

September 22, 2024 - The Columbus North girls cross country team earned its sixth-consecutive Conference Indiana championship, taking nine of the top 13 spots and putting eight runners on the All-Conference Indiana team. Carys Glyn-Jones (shown) won the girls division, finishing in 18:36.4, a full 19 seconds ahead of runner-up Lexi Kollbaum from Bloomington South. Joining Glyn-Jones in earning All-Conference honors with a top-twelve finish were Bull Dogs Kyleigh Wolf (3rd), Tristan Works (4th), Ainsley Sherlock (5th), Macy Eaton (6th), Emma Lowther (7th), Adira Sluder (10th), and Kodi Smith (11th). Girls team scores: Columbus North 19 Bloomington South 64 Bloomington North 65 Southport 128 Terre Haute South 135 Terre Haute North 157 The Bull Dog boys finished second behind Bloomington North (21) with 36 team points. Neal White finished second overall and was one of six Dogs to earn All-Conference honors. Logan Vanzant was 6th, Jonny Klaus 7th, Draven Martinez 10th, Justin Reckers 11th, and Graham Pumphrey 12th for Columbus North. Boys team scores: Bloomington North 21 Columbus North 36 Bloomington South 101 Terre Haute South 107 Terre Haute North 146 Southport 163 The Bull Dogs will compete in the Lincoln Trail Invitational on Saturday, September 28.
