North’s shutout streak ends as Bull Dogs fall to Bloomington South

September 26, 2024 - Columbus North girls soccer gave up their first goal in twelve matches and fell to Bloomington South 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon. The victory clinched another Conference Indiana title for the Panthers and dropped the Bull Dogs to 3-1 in the conference (10-2-1 overall). After a 0-0 halftime score, the Panthers punched in a second half goal for the only score of the match. Danika Hoehn was credited with five saves in goal for the match. The JV team improved to 11-1-1 with a 3-0 victory in the early match. Emerson Chambers had a goal and an assist, Aliyah Young and Lyla each recorded goals, and Lily Ryan had an assist in the victory. The Dogs will be back on the pitch on Saturday, September 28 at Terre Haute South. JV is scheduled to begin at 11:00 with varsity to follow.
