Boys tennis earn Conference Indiana championship with 4-1 victory at Bloomington North

September 27, 2024 - Columbus North boys tennis improved to 15-1 overall for the season and completed a perfect 5-0 Conference Indiana schedule to earn the 2024 Conference Indiana Boys Tennis championship. The Dogs wasted little time securing the individual match victories needed to claim the title as Hank Lin won his number one singles match 6-1, 6-0, followed by a 6-2, 6-3 victory by Sashu Sabapathy and Michael Crossman at two doubles. Parth Shah then secured the team victory with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at two singles. Teddy Littrell dropped his three singles match 2-6, 3-6, but the Dogs bounced back with a 6-4, 6-3 victory at one doubles by Yoki Murabayashi and Vince Sasse. The Bull Dogs were scheduled to make up a match with Silver Creek on Friday night, but weather has forced its cancellation. This brings an end to the regular season for the Bull Dogs who will begin sectional play on Wednesday at Columbus North. The Bull Dogs finished the Conference Indiana season with a perfect 5-0 record.
