September 23, 2024 - Senior boys tennis player Hank Lin has been named the RichardHawes Insurance Bull Dog Athlete of the Week for the week of September 16, 2024. Lin was nominated by head boys tennis coach Kendal Hammel. Lin, the 2023 IHSAA Individual Boys Tennis runner-up has followed his 22-1 junior season with a perfect 17-0 record so far this fall. From his number one singles position, he has led the Bull Dogs to a team record of 13-1 (3-0 in Conference Indiana), including victories in their last ten matches. The Dogs have been ranked in the top ten the entire season, and are currently ranked fourth. North has victories over three teams currently ranked in the top ten (Center Grove, Floyd Central, and Bloomington South).
