October 1, 2024 - The Bull Dogs girls golf team finished ninth among 15 teams at the Franklin Regional at The Legends Golf Course in Franklin. North’s team score of 386 came from individual scores of 76 from Erin Hopkins (shown), 82 from Lindsey Hartwell, 106 from Kara Buntin, and 122 from Ana Pavlov. Also competing for the Bull Dogs was Harper Andresen, who carded a score of 129. The top three teams, Franklin Community (319), Batesville (324), and Center Grove (327) will advance to the State Finals. Additionally, the top three individuals not already advancing with their teams earned berths to the State Finals. Hopkins’ 76 was tied for third among these players, but she lost on the first hole of the sudden-death playoff and did not advance. The Bull Dogs finished their season with an 8-2 dual match record, were runners-up at the Conference Indiana Championships, and placed two players on the All-Conference team (Hopkins and Hartwell).
