Girls soccer season ends with sectional loss to Center Grove

October 12, 2024 - Columbus North girls soccer allowed a total of seven goals in 17 matches this season. Six of those seven were to Center Grove, including three in a 3-0 loss in the second round of the girls soccer sectional on Thursday evening. Center Grove tallied 15 shots for the match, including eight on goal, while the Bull Dogs were able to muster only three shots for the match. Danika Hoehn kept goal all 80 minutes and recorded five saves for the Bull Dogs. The Bull Dogs finished their season with a 13-3-1 record, including a 4-1 record in Conference Indiana. They recorded 14 shutouts in seventeen matches, including a stretch of eleven straight. The JV finished 12-1-2 and were undefeated in Conference Indiana play.
