October 12, 2024 - Columbus North improved to 20-1 for the season with a 4-1 victory over Indianapolis Cathedral in the semi-state round of the IHSAA boys tennis tournament. The semi-state title was the program’s seventh consecutive and the twelfth in program history. Individual match results (in order of finish): 2S: Parth Shah W 6-0, 6-1 2D: Sashu Sabapathy/Michael Crossman W 6-0, 6-2 3S: Teddy Littrell L 6-4, 4-6, (retired - injury) 1S: Hank Lin W 6-3, 6-2 1D: Yoki Murabayashi/Vince Sasse W 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 The Bull Dogs will face South Bend Saint Joseph in the state quarterfinals at 10:00 am on October 18 at North Central High School. The winner will play the winner of the match between Brebeuf Jesuit and Evansville Memorial on October 19 at 10:00 am, also at North Central.
