December 3, 2022 - Luke Harmon (shown) scored 16 of his game high 19 points in the first quarter at Silver Creek as the Bull Dogs jumped out to a 26-14 lead after one quarter in their fourth consecutive road game to begin the season. The Dogs extended their lead to 43-26 at the half and never looked back as they cruised to an 85-51 victory over the Dragons, leveling their season record at 2-2. Ty Ferguson added 16 points, Cooper Horn tallied 15, and Tyler Blythe recorded twelve as the Dogs eclipsed the 80-point mark for the first time since an 80-55 victory on February 2, 2022 at South Decatur. The JV Bull Dogs started the night with a 52-46 victory in the early game, led by Max Coomes and Nate Enneking who each had nine points. Silver Creek did not have enough healthy players to play a freshman game, but plan to play at Columbus North on December 19. North will welcome Martinsville to Memorial Gymnasium Saturday evening (December 3) as the Bull Dogs finally get a home game. The JV and freshman games will begin at 6:00 with the varsity to follow. Tickets are available for advance purchase through the Columbus North Athletics website, or with cash or credit card at the door.
