Volleyball season ends with sectional loss to Franklin Community

October 18, 2024 - Columbus North volleyball finished the regular season with a 16-17 record after a 3-0 loss to Franklin Community (25-3) in the first round of the East Central Sectional. The Bull Dogs battled but fell short in all three sets (25-20, 25-18, 25-19). Kennedy Horn and Karen Dutro each had nine blocks to pace the Bull Dogs, and the two combined for eight blocks (five by Dutro, three by Horn). Reese Edwards and Holly Evans had ten and eight assists, respectively, and Morgan Osborn once again led North with 17 digs. The Bull Dogs started the season 3-10, but went on to win 14 of their next 19 matches to improve to 16-14 before falling in their last three matches.
