December 8, 2022 - Senior swimmer Karissa Bevis has been named Richard Hawes Insurance Bull Dog Athlete of the Week for the week of November 28, 2022. Bevis was nominated by head coach Mike Cunningham to recognize her for achieving her personal best time in the 100-yard freestyle last week, and for nearly breaking her all-time personal best in the 50-yard freestyle. Cunningham also appreciates and acknowledges her continued leadership on the team. “She has been elected one of two captains on the girls team and helps plan fun events for her teammates. Her work ethic and dedication to the team are wonderful examples for her teammates,” Cunningham commented.
