Columbus North High School

November 17, 2024 - Columbus North girls wrestling team competed at the Bronco Classic at Daleville High School and finished eighth among 26 competing teams. Vika Konovalenko and Mia Hernandez each placed second in their weight classes. Laila Lucas and Reggie Holguin each placed fifth. Also competing for Columbus North but not placing was Aubreigh Campbell. Head coach Lindsey Prozanski reflected on the day’s performance by saying, “Overall we had a much more successful day of wrestling compared to our opener last weekend (at the New Palestine Invitational). I’m hoping we can continue to build on the small successes that the girls experience and continue to grow their confidence as wrestlers.” The girls will be back on the mat on Thursday, November 21 at Jennings County. Matches are scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.
