November 27, 2024 - North’s boys and girls swim teams traveled to Franklin Community on Tuesday evening (Nov 26) and both teams fell by scores of 122-61 and 150-35, respectively. In the boys division, Diego Cotero Tapia (shown) won two individual events and helped a pair of relays to second- and third-place finishes to lead the Dogs. Top Bull Dog finishers in each event included: 200 yd Medley Relay: Aarush Mahato, Nicolas Bowers, Cotero Tapia, Eli McIntier - 2nd 200 yd Freestyle: Cotero-Tapia - 1st 200 yd Individual Medley: Mahato - 3rd 50 yd Freestyle: McIntier - 3rd 100 yd Butterfly: Cotero Tapia - 1st 100 yd Freestyle: McIntier - 4th 500 yd Freestyle: Eli Varchenko - 4th 200 Free Relay: McIntier, Mahato, Cotero Tapia, Bowers - 3rd 100 yd Backstroke: Hudson Clock - 3rd 100 yd Breaststroke: Bowers - 3rd 400 yd Freestyle Relay: Clock, HP Devaguptapu, Varchenko, Luis Valerdi - 3rd For the girls, Kanav Mehta and Mridula Muthukumaran each had a third- and fourth-place finish to lead North.
