December 2, 2024 - The 2024-25 wrestling season did not begin the way that head coach Matt Joyce had hoped or predicted, but he remains optimistic about the remainder of the season. Joyce reflected after a 78-0 loss to Center Grove that, “the final score was ugly, but there was a lot of good wrestling.” Individual match results included: 106: Forfeit 113: Liam Curfman L (fall) 120: Ty Brueche L (Default) 126: Nolan Riley L (fall) 132: Forfeit 138: Forfeit 144: Cohen Long L (tech fall) 150: Luke Spurgeon L (fall) 157: Asher Ratliff L (tech fall) 165: Jackson Haston L (fall) 175: Eric Streeval L (tech fall) 190: Evan Saevre L (fall) 215: Jonathan Morales L (fall) 285: Keyshon Osborne L (decision) North got three victories in the JV match held prior to the varsity contest. Bull Dog victories were earned by Levi Tobias (165 pounds), Diego Cordova (215), and Servando Lozano (285). The Dogs will look to bounce back at Perry Meridian on Thursday, December 5 at 6:00 pm.
