Columbus North sweeps Greenwood in boys basketball

December 15, 2024 - The Bull Dogs beat Greenwood at home on Saturday night 54-44 in a very evenly-matched and physical game. Caleb Ferguson scored twelve of his game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter, including seven of eight free throws to help seal the victory for the Bull Dogs. Nate Enneking and Austin Perry each added ten points in the victory. The Bull Dogs (4-1) held a 22-18 advantage at the halftime break, but the Woodmen cut North’s advantage to just 32-29 after three quarters. The Dogs nailed 9-of-10 free throws in the decisive fourth quarter to win by ten points. It took overtime to decide the JV game, with the Bull Dogs taking a 50-46 victory. Zach Fedor had 19 points in the victory. The freshmen improved to 5-0 with a 36-27 victory in the other early game. The Bull Dogs will host Columbus East on Friday evening (December 20) as part of Winter Rivalry Week.
