Gymnastics team begins season with road victory

January 4, 2023 - The Bull Dog gymnastics team started their season on the road at Franklin Central on Wednesday evening and came home with a 104.425-91.30 victory over the Flashes. Sophomore Reese Euler won the Floor Exercise (9.275), Balance Beam (9.125), Vault (9.40), and All-Around (37.025), and placed second to teammate Lindsey Mullis (9.250) on the Uneven Bars as the Bull Dogs swept all four events and the All-Around. The Dogs grabbed the top three places in the All-Around with Mullis finishing second and Laney Acton finishing third. Other top-three finishes for the Bull Dogs included Mullis (second) and Hannah Perry (third) on the Floor Exercise, Mullis second on the Balance Beam, Acton third on the Uneven Bars, and Mullis (second) and Perry (third) on the Vault. The Dogs will host cross-town rival Columbus East on Monday, January 9, beginning at 6:30 pm. The Dogs beat the Flashes 104.425-91.30 in their first meet of the season.
