December 22, 2024 - Vika Konovalenko (shown) won the Conference Indiana 120 pound championship, leading the Dogs to a sixth-place team finish with 60 points. Southport won the team title with 238 points. Having only four wrestlers on the roster kept the Dogs from being competitive for the team title, but the Dogs who wrestled competed well. In addition to Konovalenko’s title, Reggie Holguin placed second, and Aubreight Campbell and Fatima Aguilar each earned fourth place finishes in their respective weight classes. The girls will next be on the mat on December 28 at Whiteland for the Warrior Winter Classic.
