North grabs fourth-place finishes in Conference Indiana Swimming and Diving meet

January 7, 2023 - The Bull Dogs finished fourth in both the girls and boys Conference Indiana Swimming and Diving meet in Terre Haute on Saturday (January 7). Bloomington South won the girls team title with 487 points, followed by Bloomington North (431), Southport (360), Columbus North (319), Terre Haute South (250), and Terre Haute North (191). Top Columbus North finishers in each event included 200 medley relay - 4th (Katie Frazier, Ainsley Sherlock, Kara Buntin, Karissa Bevis) 200 freestyle - 8th (Frazier) 200 individual medley - 4th (Sherlock) 50 freestyle - 6th (Bevis) Diving - 6th (Ella Gray Partin) 100 butterfly - 11th (Emma Glyn Jones) 100 freestyle - 4th (Bevis) 500 freestyle - 6th (Frazier) 200 freestyle relay - 5th (Georgia Abdallah, Sherlock, Buntin, Bevis) 100 backstroke - 8th (Buntin) 100 breaststroke - 2nd (Sherlock) 400 freestyle relay - 4th (Cora Tregoning, Abdallah, Frazier, Nicole Brault) In the boys division, Bloomington North took the team title with 511 points, followed by Bloomington South (450), Terre Haute South (354), Columbus North (343), Southport (222), and Terre Haute North (126). Columbus North’s top finishers in each event included 200 medley relay - 3rd (Pratt Badve, Cole Ehara, Brock Smith, Jude Abdallah) 200 freestyle - 3rd (J Abdallah) 200 individual medley - 7th (Deglan Cunningham) 50 freestyle - 6th (Badve) 100 butterfly - 6th (Smith) 100 freestyle - 7th (Maclain Clock) 500 freestyle - 8th (Ehara) 200 freestyle relay - 5th (Isaac Proffitt, Smith, Cunningham, Clock) 100 backstroke - 3rd (Badve) 100 breaststroke - 3rd (Ehara) 400 freestyle relay - 3rd (Ehara, Proffitt, J Abdallah, Badve) Both teams will travel to Jennings County on January 17 for a dual meet, beginning at 6:00 pm.
