January 29, 2025 - In their final dual meet of the regular season, the Columbus North boys swim team lost at Bloomington South 114-69. Top event finishers for Columbus North included 200 yd medley relay: Hudson Clock, Nicolas Bowers, Diego Cotero Tapia, Eli McIntier - 4th 200 yd freestyle: Cotero Tapia - 2nd 200 yd individual medley: HP Devaguptapu - 4th 50 yd freestyle: Bowers - 4th 1m diving: Dagan Kleffman - 1st 100 yd butterfly: Cotero Tapia - 2nd 100 yd freestyle: McIntier - 4th 500 yd freestyle: Eli Varchenko - 2nd 200 yd freestyle relay: Cotero Tapia, McIntier, Clock, Bowers - 2nd 100 yd backstroke: Devaguptapu - 2nd 100 yd breaststroke: Bowers - 2nd 400 yd freestyle relay: Devaguptapu, Varchenko, Luis Valerdi, Isaac Niewedde - 2nd The next boys event will be the sectional meet on February 20.
