January 20, 2023 - The Bull Dog wrestling team celebrated Senior Night on Thursday, recognizing Jaedin Richards, Liam Phillips, and Cody Thurnall, and capped off the celebration with a 71-6 rout of Bedford North Lawrence in the last home meet of the wrestling season for the Dogs. North got pins from Nolan Riley (106), Liam Curfman (113), Justice Thornton (132), Jackson Haston (138), Eric Streeval (145), Jaedin Richards (160), Keller DeSpain (182), and Jose Ramirez (195) in the Bull Dog victory. In addition, Bryce Hawkins (126) and Liam Phillips (170) scored major decisions, and Josiah Green (152) recorded a decision as the Bull Dogs swept every weight class other than 120 pounds, which they forfeited to the Stars. The Bull Dogs (18-7) have now completed their regular season and will compete at the Jennings County Sectional on January 28.
