January 24, 2023 - Junior swimmer Brock Smith has been named the Richard Hawes Insurance Bull Dog Athlete of the Week for the week of January 9, 2023. Nominated by head swimming and diving coach Mike Cunningham, Smith is being recognized for his “continual positive attitude, grit, and support of his teammates.” Smith has dropped his time in the 100-yard butterfly from 1:00.20 at the beginning of the season to 55.63 and his breaststroke time has dropped from 1:12.40 to 1:10.31 in recent weeks.
