January 29, 2023 - Columbus North grapplers crowned three Sectional Champions and advanced twelve wrestlers to the Jeffersonville Regional en route to a second-place team finish at the ten-team Jennings County Sectional. Justice Thornton (132 pounds), Asher Ratliff (145 pounds), and Liam Phillips (160 pounds) all won their respective weight classes. Columbus East won the team title for the eighth straight year with 258 points. Columbus North was second with 224 points, well ahead of third-place Jennings County. Ratliff will join eleven other Bull Dogs who advanced to next Saturday’s Jeffersonville Regional.
