February 15, 2025 - Bull Dog swimmer Mridula Muthukumaran, the sectional champion in both the 200 yard individual medley and the 100 yard butterfly, swam in the IHSAA State Girls Swimming Championships on Friday evening, but her prelim finishes were not high enough to earn a berth in Saturday’s State Finals. Muthukumaran (shown here in last week’s sectional finals) finished 29th in the 200 yard individual medley in a time of 2:15.99. She came into the prelims seeded 27th (2:13.82). She finished 28th in the 100 yard butterfly (1:00.10), bettering her seeding placement by two spots.
