North grabs ninth consecutive victory

February 18, 2025 - Bull Dogs boys basketball improved to 16-3 for the season with a 62-49 victory at Covenant Christian on Monday evening. The Dog closed the first half with a 7-0 run and opened the second half with a 5-0 to pull away from Covenant Christian and collect their ninth consecutive victory. Balanced scoring once again helped the Bull Dogs as North had four players tally double-digit points. Nate Enneking and Max Coomes (shown) each had 15 points, Austin Perry had twelve, and Caleb Ferguson added ten in the victory. Thirteen of Coomes’ points came in the third quarter, helping the Dogs outscore the Warriors 21-11 in the quarter. Keegan Collier and Seth McCauley each scored eleven points to help the JV team open the evening with a 50-32 victory and improve to 13-6 for the season. The Bull Dogs will host Bloomington North Friday evening to close out the Conference Indiana season. The Dogs currently sit at 3-1 in conference play. Terre Haute North has clinched the conference title, finishing 5-0.
