Boys volleyball kicks off inaugural season at Carmel Invitational

March 24, 2025 - Head coach Jeff Case and the first Columbus North boys volleyball team in school history got their season started at the Carmel Invitational on Saturday, March 22. While the Dogs were unable to capture any match victories, there were plenty of reasons to be excited for the upcoming season. The Dogs dropped their opening match 14-25, 16-25 to Zionsville, and their second match to New Palestine 14-25, 15-25. North was able to win its first set in the middle of a 21-25, 25-23, 11-15 loss to Columbia City, and grabbed a second set victory in a 20-25, 25-21, 10-25 final match loss to Park Tudor. Statistical leaders for the Bull Dogs included Aces: Hank Lin (7) Kills: Leo Iorio (29) Assists: Kota Kondo (45) Blocks: Noah Dornfeld (4) The Bull Dogs will host their first home match on Wednesday against Pike. JV is scheduled to begin at 6:00 with varsity to follow.
