Boys volleyball collects first victory in program history

March 27, 2025 - The Columbus North boys volleyball team earned the first victory in program history with a 3-1 (25-17, 21-25, 25-15, 25-22) decision over Pike High School on Wednesday evening in Memorial Gymnasium. The Bull Dog’s (1-4) victory also marked the first home match in program history after a four-match tournament at Carmel on March 22 to open the inaugural season. Leo Iorio (shown) led the Dogs in kills (18) and service aces (5) for the match. Kota Kondo topped the assist (21) and dig (9) categories, with Noah Dornfeld and Yuta Kondo each recording two blocks. The JV team also won their match 2-0 to begin their season 1-0. North will participate in the March Madness tournament on Saturday, March 29 at Fishers High School.
