February 12, 2023 - Senior Cooper Horn (shown) poured in 23 points and the Bull Dogs improved to 13-6 with a 51-38 Conference Indiana victory at Bloomington South. Luke Harmon added nine points and Tyler Blythe chipped in eight as the Bull Dogs led throughout. North jumped out to a 13-2 lead after one quarter and kept the lead at double-digits nearly the rest of the way. In the JV game, North trailed by twelve points after three quarters, but with an increase in defensive pressure and offensive tempo, the Dogs had a chance to win in the final seconds. A Rob Williams three-point attempt with just seconds remaining fell just short and the Dogs lost its third game of the season 48-46. Garrett Long had 14 points and Nate Enneking added twelve for Columbus North (13-3). The Bull Dogs will host Bloomington North on Friday night in its final Conference Indiana matchup. Cooper Horn will be recognized between the JV and varsity games for reaching the 1000-point milestone early this season.
