Dogs compete at Fishers March Madness volleyball tournament

March 30, 2025 - Columbus North boys volleyball were back on the road on Saturday at Fishers High School to take part in the March Madness boys volleyball tournament. North won one match and lost three for the day. The Dogs fell to Ft. Wayne Snyder (7-25, 18-25) and host school Fishers (10-25, 15-25) before moving to crossover play in the afternoon. North beat Shelbyville (26-24, 25-10) before losing a tough three-set battle with Ft. Wayne South (20-25, 25-23, 10-15) to end the day. Junior Leo Iorio led the Dogs in kills (22) and digs (24) for the tournament. Hank Lin (shown) had six service aces to lead North in that category, Kota Kondo topping the assists category with 36 in the four matches. North (2-7) will host Shelbyville on Monday evening in a varsity-only matchup, beginning at 6:00 pm.
