February 14, 2023 - Coaches want their teams to be performing at their best at the end of the season. Head gymnastics coach Kaitlyn Rediker seems to have her team on track to do just that. Just two days after setting a new season-high score of 108.5 at the Connersville Invitational, the Bull Dogs won the Conference Indiana meet with a team score of 109.0. Reese Euler continued her season-long dominance, winning all four individual events (Vault 9.65, Bars 9.6, Beam 9.55, Floor 9.65) as well as the All-Around (38.45). Also earning All-Conference honors was Lindsey Mullis, who finished runner up in the All-Around with a score of 36.7. Event champions and the top six finishers in the All-Around earned All-Conference honors. Mullis also grabbed a second-place finish in Uneven Bars. Bloomington North, who finished second with 108.35, and the Bull Dogs were tied heading into the final rotation. The Dogs scored 28.1 on the floor exercise, and the Cougars tallied 27.45 on the balance beam in the final rotation, allowing Columbus North to take the Conference Indiana crown. Bloomington South (103.7) finished third. The Bull Dogs will have some time to rest, recover, and prepare for Sectionals, which will be held on February 24 at Franklin Central.
