North wins for the third time in last four matches

April 4, 2025 - Columbus North boys volleyball is starting to gain some real traction. After starting the season 1-6, the Bull Dogs have won three of their last four matches, most recently a 3-1 victory against New Albany. The Dogs dropped the first set 22-25, but rallied to win the next three, 25-22, 25-23, 25-23 and improve to 4-7 for the season. Statistical leaders for the Bull Dogs in their victory over New Albany included Service aces: Kota Kondo (2) Kills: Leo Iorio (15), Yuta Kondo (8) Blocks: Anyu Gong (5), Noah Dornfeld and Gong (4) Assists: K Kondo (23) Digs: Iorio (26) The JV team won the early match 2-0 (25-16, 25-21) to improve to 2-4. North will travel to Silver Creek on Tuesday, April 8 for a non-conference matchup with the Dragons beginning at 6:00.
