April 11, 2025 - After two consecutive come-from-behind victories earlier in the week, the Bull Dogs stumbled in their Conference Indiana opener at Bloomington North, falling 10-0 in a weather-delayed contest. Senior Joey Fry (shown) threw 3-⅓ innings, allowing seven runs (six earned) on seven hits, while walking three and striking out three. Dillon Long came on in relief after a lightning delay and pitched the final 1-⅓ innings, giving up three runs on four hits. Long struck out one and walked one in his outing. The Bull Dogs were 0-for-16 on the receiving end of a no-hitter. The Cougars pitchers combined for eight strikeouts and walked only four. The JV teams played at Columbus North and the Cougars prevailed 10-6. After a few much-needed days off, the Bull Dogs (3-2) will host Center Grove on Monday night (April 14). First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 at the Southside Elementary diamonds. The JV team will travel to Hauser Tuesday, April 15.
