North bounces back after tough loss to Whiteland with victory over Seymour

April 16, 2025 - After dropping a 14-13 decision to Whiteland on Monday night, the Bull Dogs softball team rebounded with a 3-1 victory over Seymour on Tuesday Night at Southside Elementary. Bailee Scruggs tossed a complete game five hitter while walking none and striking out nine. The Dogs took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first before the Owls answered with a run in the top of the third. North put an insurance run on the board in the bottom of the fifth inning to secure the two run victory. Miley McClellan had a pair of hits and an RBI and Morgan Jarvis, Summer Williams, and Payton Morris each scored for the Bull Dogs, now 2-4 for the season. The Owls took the JV game 5-3, dropping the Dogs to 1-1-1 for the season. Both teams will travel to Edgewood for a 5:30 non-conference matchup on Thursday, April 17.
