May 2, 2025 - The Bull Dogs have been on the receiving end of some big innings recently, leading to three consecutive losses. They turned the tables on Thursday night at Perry Meridian and used their own twelve run fifth inning as a springboard to a 15-7 victory and improving to 6-7 for the season. Miley McClellan has had the hot bat for the Dogs recently, and that continued Thursday night as her three hits led a total of five Bull Dogs who recorded multiple hits. North pounded out 14 hits for the game, including doubles by McClellan, Bailee Scruggs, and Summer Williams, and triples by Ali Wooten and Morgan Jarvis. Scruggs got the pitching start and lasted four innings, allowing five runs (two earned) on four hits while striking out four. Payton Morris took over in the fifth inning and threw the final three stanzas. Morris allowed two runs on three hits, striking out four and walking one. Perry Meridian did not have a JV team. The Dogs will return to Conference Indiana play on Monday afternoon when they travel to Terre Haute South. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 pm.
