May 2, 2025 - The Bull Dogs thought they’d have their hands full on the road at 10-2 Seymour on Thursday evening, but six Owls defensive errors and two Bull Dogs pitchers combining to allow just three hits led to an 11-0 six inning non-conference victory for North. Joey Fry took the mound for North and lasted five innings, giving up just two hits while striking out nine and walking five. Dillon Long tossed the final inning, allowing just one hit and striking out two. Brock Kintner and Jesse Clark each had two hits in the victory, and the Dogs (5-7) got three RBI from Jayce Emmitt, and two each from Isaac Genth and Sam Perry. The JV team hosted Seymour as well on Thursday, and rallied for a 12-11 eight inning victory over the Owls. Luke Hunter had a first inning home run and Ashton Schwartz blasted a grand slam in the victory, as the Dogs improved to 4-5. The varsity and JV (White) will host Cathedral Friday night, May 2. First pitch for each game is scheduled for 6:00 pm. Photo: Joey Fry threw five shutout innings in an 11-0 Bull Dog victory over Seymour on Thursday night (May 1).
