March 23, 2023 - Senior basketball player Cooper Horn has received a pair of postseason accolades following the Bull Dogs’ 2022-23 basketball season in which they won the Sectional Tournament title for the first time in 10 years. Horn has been invited to participate in the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 Senior Workout at Marian University on Sunday, March 26. Horn was selected from among approximately 1500 senior players statewide. The workout will be directed by Indianapolis Attucks’ coach Christopher Hawkins along with Donnie Bowling (Anderson), Brent Dalrymple (North Daviess), Greg Dean (Fountain Central), and Ryan Miller (Providence). The event is open to the public for an admission fee of $8.00. In addition, Horn has been named to the IBCA/Franciscan Health boys Honorable Mention All-State. A panel of 20 IBCA coaches reviewed nominations and voted on the selections. Horn averaged 17.4 points per game during the season, and also led the Bull Dogs in rebounding (4.0 per game), steals (2.6 per game), and blocks (.6 per game). He passed the 1000 career points milestone during the season and finished his career as the sixth leading scorer in program history.
