April 5, 2023 - The girls tennis team got their season started at home versus Center Grove and came away with a 3-2 victory over the Trojans. The Bull Dogs won the first two matches easily, with Kathryn Wilson (6-0, 6-1) and Aya Saad (6-0, 6-0) cruising to victories at one- and two-singles, respectively. The Trojans then grabbed the next two matches as Lucy Bergman fell at three-singles 3-6, 4-6, and the two-doubles team of Grace Conner and Nino Akhalaya dropped a 4-6, 6-3, 5-7 decision. With the team scores tied 2-2, the one-doubles team of Annabelle Sun and Ava Beecher won their match 7-6(4), 4-6, 6-4 to secure the team victory. The Bull Dogs will travel to Seymour on Thursday to take on the Owls in a dual match scheduled to get underway at 4:45 pm.
