May 21, 2025 - Columbus North beat Hauser 5-0 in the first round of the Columbus North Girls Tennis Sectional on Wednesday afternoon. The Bull Dogs will advance to face Greensburg on Thursday afternoon. Edinburgh and Columbus East will meet in the other semifinal match. Aya Saad (number one singles) and Lucy Bergman (number two singles) each won 6-0, 6-0 to give the Dogs a quick 2-0 lead. The one doubles team of Annabelle Sun and Nino Akhalaya won 6-0, 6-1, followed by a 6-2, 6-0 victory by the two doubles team of Lizzie Bodart and Grace Conner. Ayane Umemura completed the sweep with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at number three singles. The Bull Dogs recognized their seniors in a ceremony following the match.
