Dogs win 40th sectional tennis championship

May 25, 2025 - Columbus North girls tennis won its 40th sectional championship after 5-0 victories over Hauser, Greensburg, and Edinburgh last week. The 40 sectional titles ranks third all time, behind Munster and Carmel. This was the eleventh consecutive sectional title for the Bull Dogs. After a 5-0 victory over Hauser in the quarterfinals, North repeated with 5-0 victories over Greensburg and Edinburgh in the sectional semifinals and finals. The winner will face the winner of the other semifinal match between Jennings County and Lawrenceburg. A reminder to tennis fans that beginning in the regional round, the IHSAA will charge an entry fee to all fans. BCSC badges, Legacy Passes, All-Sports Passes, and student ID passes will not be valid for the remainder of the tennis tournament.
