North blanks Columbus East in tennis

April 11, 2023 - Eighth-ranked Columbus North cruised past cross-town rival Columbus East 5-0 in girls tennis on Monday afternoon at the North tennis courts. The victory improved the Bull Dogs’ record to 3-0. Kathryn Wilson and Aya Saad each won 6-0, 6-0 in one- and two-singles. Lucy Bergman then won her three-singles match 6-1, 6-1. The two-doubles team of Annabelle Sun and Siri Poludasu rolled 6-2, 6-1, followed by a 6-2, 6-4 victory at two-doubles by Grace Conner and Lison Cloteaux. North also won six of the eight Reserves matches. The Dogs will be back on the court to host Floyd Central at 5:00 on Tuesday, April 11.
