June 16, 2025 - Columbus North finished fourth at the 15-team Providence Boys Golf Regional on June 12 with an aggregate 315, just missing the top three positions who qualified for the State Finals. Center Grove won the event, scoring 298, with Franklin Community (304), and Floyd Central (313) joining them in qualifying as a team for this week’s State Finals. Austin Perry earned the final individual berth in the State Finals, finishing third among players who were not already qualified with their team. Perry shot 74 and won the spot on the fourth hole of a playoff for the remaining position. Brady Schneider added 77 for the Bull Dogs, with Joseph Perkins carding 78 and Tyler Dillingham recording 86. Reid Perry’s 89 did not count in the team score. The IHSAA State Golf Championships will be held at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel on June 17, 18. Perry will tee off on the tenth tee at 8:10 am on Tuesday.
