Golf team competes at Franklin Invitational

August 17, 2025 - In their first 18-hole outing of the season, the Columbus North girls golf team competed in the 16-team Franklin Invitational at The Legends Golf Course in Franklin on Saturday, August 17. Host school Franklin Community won the event with a team aggregate score of 318. The Bull Dogs shot 491 as a team, with Harper Andresen pacing North with a 115 total. Bryn Emmitt shot 121, Kori Vincent recorded a 121, and Caroline Crawford added 129. Brooklyn Hatton’s 139 did not count in the team score. After three meets last week, the Bull Dogs’ busy schedule continues this week with four matches. The team will travel to take on Greenwood on Monday and then to Batesville on Tuesday, before hosting Roncalli on Thursday. Saturday they will travel to Hickory Stick to compete in Center Grove’s Trojan Classic.
