April 18, 2023 - Senior Maddi Rutan threw a complete-game one-hit shutout at Columbus East, striking out 16 Olympians as the Bull Dogs cruised to a 7-0 victory and a 7-0-1 record for the season. North pounded out eleven hits against Columbus East, including three doubles (one each by Kaylee Cowan, Kirsten Danford, and Payton Morris). Danford, Bailey King, Miley McClellan, and Cowan each had multiple hits for the Bull Dogs to help Rutan, who threw strikes on 63 of the 79 pitches that she threw. The Bull Dogs will host Conference Indiana foe Bloomington North on Tuesday, April 18. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm at the Southside Elementary diamonds.
