April 18, 2023 - On a windy, blustery day at Bloomington North, the Bull Dogs tennis team fell to the Cougars 2-3 in their Conference Indiana opener, dropping their season record to 6-1. Kathryn Wilson had no trouble at the one-singles position, rolling 6-0, 6-1 to put the Dogs on the board first. Lucy Bergman then dropped the three-singles match 2-6, 0-6, before the Bull Dogs bounced back with a 6-3, 6-0 victory by Aya Saad at two-singles. The remaining two matches belonged to the Cougars as Grace Conner and Nino Akhalaya fell 4-6, 1-6 at two-doubles and Annabelle Sun and Siri Poludasu were defeated at one-doubles 3-6, 3-6. The Bull Dogs will try to bounce back as they host Southport on Tuesday (April 18) at 5:30 pm.
