April 19, 2023 - The Columbus North boys and girls golf teams have been without a home course for quite some time as Harrison Lake Country Club has been undergoing a redesign. This has caused the Bull Dogs to play home matches at Timbergate Golf Course and on the road throughout the 2021 and 2022 seasons, and so far through the 2023 season. The Bull Dogs were back to Harrison Lake on Tuesday, April 18, hosting Brownstown Central in a non-conference dual meet. Both teams recorded outstanding scores, with the Bull Dogs edging Brownstown 147-148 Jack Schiavello and William Davis each shot one-under-par 35, with John Merritt adding a 38, and Joseph Perkins recording a 39. Also competing for North was Tyler Wilks, who shot 43. The Dogs also won the JV division 177-182. Luke Friend and Carter Battin paced the Dogs with 42s. Alex Clark tallied 44, Brennan Kushman finished with 49, Parker Brown shot 55 for North’s JV. The Bull Dogs will host Bloomington South on Monday, April 24 beginning at 4:00 pm.
