August 19, 2025 - The Columbus North girls soccer team’s commitment to play a challenging schedule was on full display last night as they kicked off their season hosting eighth-ranked Center Grove at the BCSC Soccer Complex. Center Grove’s team speed and crisp passing helped them to a 4-0 victory in the varsity game over the host Bull Dogs. The Bull Dogs were outshot 11-5 as North had difficulty getting the ball deep into Trojan territory. Danika Hoehn was credited with four saves and Gabby Revell added three as the two split time in goal. Center Grove took the JV match as well by a score of 3-0. The girls will be back on the field at Seymour on Thursday. The JV is scheduled to get underway at 5:00 with varsity to follow. Start times will be dependent upon North’s arrival time due to transportation challenges. Photo: Danika Hoehn had four saves against Center Grove on Monday evening.
