August 22, 2025 - After a loss to Center Grove to begin their season earlier in the week, the Columbus North girls soccer team bounced back with a 6-0 victory at Seymour on Thursday night (August 21). Junior Lily Ryan (shown) had a pair of goals, and Avery Baker and Grace Bethuram each added a goal and an assist as the Bull Dogs outshot the Owls 26-0 for the contest. Also scoring for North were Grace Bethuram, Rachel Fulp, and Lydia Kushman. Additional assists were credited to Evelin Lopez, Allison Kolhouse, and Emerson Chambers. Dankia Hoehn and Gabby Revell split time in goal for the Dogs, but neither recorded a save due to the dominating performance by the defenders around them. The Bull Dogs opened the night with a 4-0 victory in the JV match, with goals coming from Alannah Johnson, Haley Schulz, Mila Begley, and Jacklyn Bunch. North will travel to Franklin Community Monday afternoon for a JV/varsity doubleheader, scheduled to get started at 5:30 pm.
