August 24, 2025 - The Jeffersonville Boys Tennis Invitational offers the athletes a unique format. Rather than head-to-head team competition, each competitor competes in a mini tournament within his own lineup position and points are awarded based on the player’s finish in his division. North finished fifth among eight teams with 24 team points. Zionsville won the event with 32 points. North’s top performer was Alek Devidze at number one singles. He earned seven team points with a second-place finish among all number one singles players. He won his first two matches and fell in the finals. The Bull Dogs got five team points from each of the doubles teams due to fourth place finishes in their divisions. North’s number one doubles team was made up of Teddy Littrell and Vince Sasse, and the two doubles team saw Jaishal Padmanabhan and Harshil Gandhi pair up for their fourth place finish. Jace Branham finished fifth at three singles to earn four team points, and Max Wei earned three team points with a sixth place finish at two singles. The Bull Dogs will host Columbus East on Tuesday as part of Rivalry Week. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm.
