August 28, 2025 - North girls soccer wasted little time finding the back of the net against Columbus East on Wednesday night as Avery Baker put the Dogs up 1-0 less than two minutes into the match. The scoring would continue throughout the night as the Bull Dogs blasted 53 shots at Columbus East’s goal keeper en route to an 8-0 victory. Grace Bethruram had two goals while the Dogs got one each from Baker, Lily Ryan, Allison Kolhouse, Grace Merritt, Lexi Roukas, and Hayden Bigler. Kolhouse also assisted on three of the scores, with additional assists coming from Rachel Fulp, Baker, Riley Sims, and Delila Owens. The Bull Dogs recorded 24 shots on goal to Columbus East’s 0 as neither North goalkeeper (Danika Hoehn and Gabby Revell each played 40 minutes) recorded a save. North will travel to Floyd Central on Saturday, August 30 for a varsity-only contest. A limited roster from Floyd Central has forced the cancellation of the junior varsity match. The match is scheduled to get underway at noon. Photo: Allison Kolhouse had a goal and three assists in an 8-0 Bull Dog victory over Columbus East on Wednesday (August 27).
