August 28, 2025 - Following a 49-7 season-opening victory over Whiteland on Friday, August 22, senior quarterback Asher Ratliff has been named the Richard Hawes Insurance Bull Dog Athlete of the Week. Ratliff was 24-for-29 passing against the Warriors for 291 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 37 yards and another score. He is starting at quarterback for the third season, and was voted as one of four team captains prior to the start of the regular season. Head football coach Logan Haston nominated Ratliff and explained, “Asher played at an incredibly high level and distributed the ball to a lot of different players. He took what the defense gave us, which is exactly what we would expect from a third year starting quarterback.” Congratulations to senior quarterback Asher Ratliff for earning the first Richard Hawes Insurance Bull Dog Athlete of the Week award of the 2025-26 school year.
