August 29, 2025 - Bull Dog boys soccer knocked off Columbus East 2-0 in varsity boys soccer Thursday evening at the BCSC Soccer Complex to improve to 3-2-1 for the season. Both of North’s goals resulted from Luccas Peda corner kicks, the first one in the eleventh minute when Manuel Valle scored from a Johnny Renteria Garcia assist. Brody Johnson scored from a Mathiang Kak assist, again off of a corner kick by Peda, in the second half to give the Dogs the 2-0 decision. The Bull Dogs outshot the Olympians 15-to-5, with an 8-to-1 advantage in shots-on-frame for the contest. Nicolas De Linan Palacios kept goal for the Bull Dogs for 68 minutes, but did not face a shot and recorded no saves. Jaden Andrade saved the only shot on goal by the Olympians in his twelve minutes of work in goal. The Bull Dogs took the early match as well, winning the JV contest 1-0. The JV team is now 3-1 for the season. North will travel to Cathedral on Thursday, September 4 for a match with the Irish, beginning approximately 5:30 pm.
