Bull Dogs roll over Floyd Central in girls soccer

September 1, 2025 - After losing 4-0 to Center Grove to open the season, the Bull Dogs have won four straight matches, all in shut-out fashion, to improve to 4-1. The Dogs cruised past Floyd Central on Saturday 8-0 as Rachel Fulp recorded four goals and an assist. Riley Simes, Grace Bethuram, Lydia Kushman, and Aliyah Young also recorded goals in the victory, while assists were credited to Gabby Spurgeon, Bethuram (2), Lexi Roukas (2), Young, Emerson Chambers, and Fulp. The Highlanders did not have a JV team. Danika Hoehn and Gabby Revell shared time in goal for the Bull Dogs and recorded one and two saves, respectively. The Bull Dogs tallied 30 shots on goal (19 on frame), while the Highlanders had only eight shots (three on target). The Dogs will travel south again on Tuesday for a varsity-only match with New Albany, beginning at 6:00 pm.
